The game idea is strongly inspired by „The Binding of Isaac“, a randomly generated action RPG shooter with roguelike elements. An important point in the development was therefore that the levels can be randomly generated.
The RPG elements are expressed through the player’s stats, which can be improved with the help of items. The goal of the game is to advance as far as possible into the dungeon with each attempt, defeating as many enemies as possible. Through different weapons and items as well as the levels. We decided for this game idea, because such a game concept already offers a high replayability even as a prototype, since each attempt is unique.
